Resource description

Run a full vehicle theft contract loop on your server — not a stripped demo. Patriot Car Theft Lite is the free edition of our contract system: players meet a criminal contractor, pick from twelve ready-made story jobs, locate the target vehicle inside a search radius, hack the ECU, cut GPS trackers on tracked contracts (While police see the live GPS tracker), and deliver the target vehicle for payout. Fully customise & create as many contracts as you want with a tone of settings fully configurable inside 'config.lua'.

Upgrade to Patriot Car Theft Advanced for co-op crews, rotating contractor locations, UI customisation, clean delivery bonuses, and  the ability to use external dispatch systems.

Do not run Lite and Advanced on the same server — they share the same `car_theft` event namespace.

This script is Escrowed with only the Config & Util Files being Un-Escrowed.

12 Story Contracts

Twelve plug-and-play story contracts shipped ready to go, scaling from easy scooter grabs to extreme supercar jobs. Each contract is set in `config.lua` with the vehicle, spawn location, delivery location, payout, difficulty, thumbnail, contract description and optional flags like GPS tracking or no-damage requirements. Create / delete / edit as many contracts as you want to match your economy & make your server more fun - without having to touch any core files!

Contractor NPC

Players can view all contracts via the Contractor NPC which has its default location set up as near Legion Square (However this can be changed via 'config.lua'). Each contract's title, description, thumbnail, difficulty, estimated time, payout, and whether it contains a GPS Tracker / No Damage Requirement is displayed inside the Contract Menu which is accessed via the Contractor NPC. Contracts already in progress show as locked server-wide so two crews cannot run the same job ID at once.

ECU Hex-Hack Minigame

To unlock the target vehicle, players will have to complete an interactive ECU hex-hack minigame where they match hex values via a column-matching under time pressure mechanism. Hack speed scales with contract difficulty so easy jobs stay approachable while hard and extreme contracts demand faster, cleaner inputs. (This can be disabled via 'config.lua' & is fully configurable)

GPS Tracker Remover Minigame & Live Pursuits

Contracts containing a GPS Tracker will spawn the target vehicle with a GPS Tracker that becomes enabled once the target vehicle is unlocked. Upon the GPS being enabled, police receive live updates via their minimap showing the location of the target vehicle until the GPS Tracker is removed via the remover minigame, which requires players match colored wires. The amount of wires to match changes based off difficulty & once the tracker has been removed, the blip drops to a timed “GPS signal lost” marker on the police's minimaps. (This can be disabled via 'config.lua' & is fully configurable)

Approximate Search Locations

Target vehicles are not pinned to an exact coordinate on start. Players receive an approximate search zone on the map and use the mission flow to narrow the hunt, keeping early contract phases tense instead of a straight GPS line to the car.

Mission HUD & Contract Management Tablet

A configurable mission HUD keeps the current objective on screen during the run. Press F10 (Rebindable in FiveM settings) to open the mission management tablet - which allows you to review the active objective or abort a solo contract without any hassle.

Multi-Framework Support

Framework detection runs automatically for ESX, QBCore, Qbox, and Standalone, with manual override in config if needed. Payouts route to your chosen money account, police alerts respect your job list or ace permissions in standalone mode, and the resource requires `ox_lib`. Integrated police notifications are built in; external dispatch is available only in the advanced version!
